What a funnel is
The funnel is the sales conversation, written down. It isn’t a chart or a report: it’s what your agent does, arranged into chapters, like the playbook you would hand a new salesperson. A typical funnel goes like this: greet and understand what the customer is looking for → present the product that fits them → handle the price objection → close and take the shipping details. Each of those stretches is a chapter, with its rules and its examples. And the important part: it’s yours and you edit it. What comes out of the conversation is a first draft so you don’t start from a blank page. From there on you live in the seller’s playbook, which is where the funnel gets corrected a thousand times. An agent = a script + a character + a WhatsApp number. The dashboard calls
the script the funnel; the character — the salesperson’s name, their tone,
their way of speaking — it calls the persona, and it doesn’t refer to anyone
made of flesh and blood. If you sell two very different things, that’s two
agents, not two chapters.
Building it by talking: the normal path
When you finish signing up the copilot opens by itself — the right-hand panel; on the phone, a drawer that comes in from the side — and the onboarding conversation starts. After that you always have it at Home → Create agent. While it lasts, below the compose box there’s a label to remind you:We’re building your agent. This doesn’t spend your balance.
1
Tell it how you sell today
The first thing it asks you for is the part only you know: your sales
process, in your own words, from the customer’s first message until you
call the sale closed. You don’t have to put it in order or give it technical names: write it the
way you would tell a new salesperson. If you don’t know where to start, the
first screen offers you three phrases to get going in one tap — “I sell
over WhatsApp and close in the chat”, “I book visits or appointments”,
“I screen applicants or requests” — and from there it asks the questions.
2
Answer what it asks you
It isn’t a form: it asks you in blocks and in plain language, and it
doesn’t repeat back something you already told it. What it will want to know:
- Your business and your audience — what it’s called, who buys from you, where you sell and how people reach your WhatsApp.
- The product — what exactly you sell and what benefits you can state with confidence. What you don’t confirm to it doesn’t get promised: it is handed off to someone on your team.
- Prices and promotions — each variant or bundle with its price, and the discount rules currently in force.
- Payment, shipping and delivery — how they pay you, how long you really take and what details you need in order to dispatch.
- Objections — what they ask you most before buying and the answer you give. That answer, exactly as it is, is the one the agent will use.
- What name and what tone it should introduce itself with.
- Which cases always go to a person on your team.
- What files you usually send (catalog, flyer, price list) and at what point in the conversation.
3
Confirm the agent's creation
Once it has your process, it asks your permission to create the agent: a
card “Confirm: Creating the funnel” appears with the proposed name
and objective, and the Approve and Reject buttons. It asks you because creating an agent takes up a slot in your plan, and
that is your money. It’s born active, with an empty playbook and no WhatsApp
number: it exists, and it doesn’t sell anything yet.
4
Review the proposed script and approve it yourself
At the end it shows you the complete proposal on a card: the
salesperson’s personality and the chapters, each one collapsed with
its label and its first lines. You open them one by one and read the whole
script before deciding. With Approve it’s written into your agent; with Reject nothing is
written and you can ask it for changes in the same chat. Once applied, the
card leaves you the View the playbook button to go straight to the
script.
It isn’t a gift, it’s an advance. So that you can put your agent together
with no balance, DarkFunnels advances you up to US$ 2 — spread over 4 build
attempts — and up to US$ 0.50 to try it out in the test chat. That
consumption is deducted from your US$ 10 welcome credit the day you connect
WhatsApp. If you built your agent two or three times before connecting, you’ll
see slightly less than US$ 10 credited: it isn’t an error.Every attempt counts, whether it goes well or badly.
If you close halfway through you lose nothing. The conversation lives in
your account, not in a browser draft: going back to Home → Create agent from
the same machine reopens your thread just as it was, with everything you already
told it. And if you come in from another device and it starts from scratch, the
first thing it does is look at which agents you have: if one was left without a
script, it picks up on that one instead of creating another.

2
Upload what the agent sends
The catalog, the flyer, the price list and the photos are uploaded
afterwards, from the Library, and there you decide which ones it can
send over WhatsApp. The script already has a note of when they come up.

Redoing the funnel of an agent that already exists
If you go into an agent’s Playbook and it still has no chapters, the screen itself offers you “Build it by talking”: it opens the same onboarding, but with that agent already in focus — it doesn’t create a new one or take up another slot. It’s the way out for the agent you created “with no funnel” and left half-done. Talking is the only assisted route to the whole funnel, and that’s on purpose: it’s the one that checks the script has its numbered steps, its shared context block and its personality before proposing anything to you. There used to be a button that wrote the funnel in a single pass, without those checks, and it was retired: the scripts it produced were worse. If the free assistance runs out
Building the funnel by talking is on the house, and that’s why it has a per-account limit: it’s enough for several complete attempts, plenty to put your agent together and redo it a couple of times if you change your mind. If you use it up, the onboarding doesn’t shut down: it keeps working exactly the same, only from then on the conversation runs against your balance, like any other copilot conversation. You lose nothing of what’s done — the agent and the chapters you already approved are still there — and you can also carry on in the playbook, chapter by chapter, with versions and without spending anything. After creating it

Common problems
- I don’t know how much detail to give it — all you have. It’s better to tell it too much and let it discard, than to leave it gaps: what you don’t give it doesn’t show up in the script.
- It’s asking me things I already told it — sum it up for it in one message and carry on; you can also ask it to “move on to the script” when you feel it already has enough.
- I closed the copilot without finishing — go back to Home → Create agent on the same machine and the thread reopens where you left off. From another device it starts from scratch, but it recognizes the agent you left without a script and picks up on it.
- I approved the agent but not the script — the agent already exists with an empty playbook. Go into its Playbook and press “Build it by talking”: it picks up on that same agent, without taking up another slot.
- The persona doesn’t sound like my business — it’s fixed in the playbook, by clicking the active persona. Nothing has to be generated again.
- It makes up prices or conditions — what you didn’t give it, it imagines. Prices and variants live in the catalog; the hard rules, in the playbook.
- I approved the funnel and it wasn’t the one I wanted — approving replaces the whole playbook, so from there on it’s corrected in the playbook, chapter by chapter and with versions.
