> ## Agent Instructions
> DarkFunnels is a WhatsApp AI sales-agent platform used mainly in Peru and Latin America. The product interface and most of this documentation are in Spanish; the /en tree is the English mirror.
> A business connects the WhatsApp number it already uses by scanning a QR code from the dashboard, the same linked-device mechanism as WhatsApp Web. It does not go through the Meta Cloud API (WhatsApp Business Platform), so there is no application to get approved and no message templates to submit. DarkFunnels is not a Meta product and is not affiliated with Meta.
> DarkFunnels also publishes a remote MCP server at https://mcp.darkfunnels.ai/mcp so an assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT or Codex can operate the workspace on the owner's behalf. The tool reference is at /referencia/tools and the connection parameters at /referencia/url-de-conexion.
> The dashboard is https://optimind.darkfunnels.ai, the marketing site is https://darkfunnels.ai and the page written for AI agents is https://darkfunnels.ai/agents.

# Start your WhatsApp AI sales agent free trial

> What sign-up asks and why, and what happens in the next minute when you start a WhatsApp AI sales agent free trial: no card, session open, copilot ready.

Sign-up is at [optimind.darkfunnels.ai/register](https://optimind.darkfunnels.ai/register).
Two screens: **your details** and **your business**. It does not ask for a card.

The dashboard interface is in Spanish, so buttons and menus are named here in
Spanish with the English meaning in parentheses.

<Note>
  Your trial is **15 days with up to 5 active agents and US\$10 in credit**. The
  credits **are not added when you sign up**: they arrive when you connect your
  WhatsApp, and the 15-day clock starts at that same moment. That way nobody burns
  their trial while they are still building the agent. The whole story is in
  [Connect your WhatsApp](/en/getting-started/connect-whatsapp).
</Note>

## With email or with Google

Above the form you have **Continuar con Google** ("Continue with Google"). It
saves you the password, not the rest: when you come back from Google the form
still asks for your WhatsApp number and the name of your business, because those
are things Google does not know.

If you choose email and password, sign-up ends with your session already open:
there is no need to log in again.

## What it asks for, and what each thing is for

| Field                          | What for                                                                                                    |
| ------------------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Email and password** | Your access to the dashboard. The email is also where billing notices and receipts arrive. |
| **First and last name** | How the dashboard addresses you. Your customer sees none of this. |
| **Country code + WhatsApp** | **Your personal number, not the agent's.** It is where the system writes to you. |
| **Company name** | The name of your business inside DarkFunnels. It can be changed later. |
| **How did you hear about us?** | Optional. It is only useful to us. |
| **Referral code** | Optional. Adds **US\$25** of extra credit, added together with the trial credits when you connect WhatsApp. |

<Warning>
  The WhatsApp number from sign-up **is not the number that serves your
  customers**. You choose that one later, when you connect the channel. The
  sign-up one is where you receive:

  * the **sale** notice as soon as your agent closes one,
  * the morning **daily summary**,
  * the notice that **you have run out of credits**,
  * and the conversations the agent **hands over to you** when it is time for a
    person to take them.

  When you create your first agent, that number is seeded by itself into the three
  notification lists. If you enter it wrong, those notices are born dead — it is
  fixed in the agent's **Configuración** ("Settings").
</Warning>

Before submitting you will see a Cloudflare **anti-robot** check. It resolves
itself in a second; if it fails, the box itself offers **Reintentar** ("Retry").

## And in the next minute

Once sign-up is done you enter the dashboard with your session open and the
copilot opens by itself to build your first agent through conversation. Your
account already comes with **Ventas** ("Sales") and **Calendario** ("Calendar")
active: there is nothing to choose.

<Note>
  **The copilot** is an AI chat that lives **inside** the dashboard, in the drawer
  on the right. It asks you questions about how you sell and with that it writes
  your agent's script. It is not Claude or ChatGPT, it is part of DarkFunnels, and
  **talking to it to build your agent is on the house**: it does not touch your
  balance, today or later. Careful, that applies to the sign-up conversation; the
  rest of what you ask the copilot does consume balance. And **generating the
  playbook is charged**: while you are at US\$ 0 it is advanced to you (up to 4
  generations, or US\$ 2) and deducted from your welcome credits when you connect
  WhatsApp. (The guides call something else "your assistant": Claude or ChatGPT
  connected from the outside, which is optional. They are all in the
  [glossary](/en/reference/glossary).)
</Note>

Your balance says **US\$ 0** and that is fine. It is not an error or a
half-finished account: it is the trial waiting for you to connect WhatsApp. You
can build your agent anyway: talking it through with the copilot is on the house
and does not spend your credits.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create your first agent">
    The copilot is already open and waiting for you to tell it how you sell.
    [Your first agent](/en/getting-started/your-first-agent).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Get to know your Home screen">
    Next to the copilot is the dashboard you are going to look at every day: the
    start-up list, your agents and your balance.
    [Your first look](/en/getting-started/first-look).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect your WhatsApp">
    It is what credits your credits and puts the agent to answering.

  </Step>
</Steps>

## Common problems

* **"Ya existe una cuenta con ese correo"** ("An account with that email already
  exists") — sign-up stops and sends you to the login. If you do not remember
  the password, use **¿Olvidaste tu contraseña?** ("Forgot your password?"): a
  link arrives for you to set it again.
* **The anti-robot check does not pass** — press **Reintentar** ("Retry") in the
  box. It usually happens inside the Instagram or Facebook browser: open the
  page in Chrome or Safari and it works first time.
* **You came back from Google and it asks for details again** — that is the
  normal step: Google does not supply your WhatsApp number or the name of your
  business.
* **You entered your WhatsApp number wrong** — there is no need to redo sign-up.
  It is fixed in the agent's **Configuración** ("Settings"), in the notification
  lists.
